Katja von Ruville, who grew up in Munich and the Rhineland, studied art history in Oslo and communication design in Mainz - with a focus on book design under Prof. Hans Peter Willberg. She has been working as a freelance book designer since 2000, founded her own jewelry label in 2006 and has been working as a freelance artist since her studies at the Städelschule as a freelance artist.

My works tell of vulnerability and imperfection, of perseverance and the decision to move on now more than ever.”
