In his new series, 'Der Wald vor lauter Bäumen", Noah Kauertz embarks on a new chapter in his artistic practice by turning to landscape painting. The stage-like compositions are created through a multi-layered process. First, digital collages are created; then, physical dioramas are built from cardboard and paper and illuminated in a specific way. Finally, traditional oil paint is applied. This process incorporates influences from art history, pop culture and AI, as well as personal memories.
