Nico Sawatzki lives and works in Regensburg.

In his works, he uses spray paint and acrylic glaze to create multi-layered abstract landscapes. Shades of blue, yellow and red meet, mix and separate from one another. The canvas becomes a window into a world - mystical, strange and familiar at the same time.

The artist, who has won numerous art prizes, is represented in private and public collections, including the Bavarian State Painting Collection.
