Anna Pascher – Between Fragment, Memory, and Pictorial Silence

“My intuition is my inspiration and at the same time my intention. I immerse myself in a scene and envision the atmosphere and surrounding sounds. Without overthinking, I translate these sensations into visual art.”

The painter Anna Pascher (born in 1983 in Bad Oeynhausen) studied fashion design at the AMD in Düsseldorf and found her calling in painting. Her works move at the intersection between figurative representation and pictorial dissolution - they are a dialogue between the tangible and the fleeting.

Today she lives and works in Düsseldorf. In her acrylic works on canvas, she focuses on scenes that are familiar to us all: table gatherings and views of food. But instead of rigid images, she creates visual records of memory. She isolates fragments from their context and lets them float in an undefined color space - unclear and sometimes blurred, but emotionally immediately present.

In her work process, the technique itself becomes a carrier of meaning. Through the deliberate layering of paint, Pascher elevates her motifs to the transcendent. The paint flows, forms dissolve, and new spaces emerge. These works act like windows into our own memories: they capture moments that are already fading, but whose feelings still resonate deeply within us. The result is compositions that are both analytically precise and imbued with an intuitive warmth.

The E30 Gallery presents Anna Pascher's works, which capture the spirit of communal experience in Frankfurt's Nordend district.
