Judica Schön seems to freeze time in her oil paintings. A brief moment, an everyday gesture is focused on and thus given a new meaning. Through the cuts and perspectives, her almost like cinematic stagings, in which the second frozen on the canvas outlasts the before and after. Sensuality, beauty and materiality are of particular importance to the artist.

Judica Schön was born in Cologne in 1996 and completed her Master's degree at Alanus University in 2023.
