Fruits, vegetables and insects are immortalized on canvas with brush and oil paint, and are thus given a second existence in another reality; the colouring and staging is reminiscent of the still lifes of the Dutch masters, and yet is also deliberately interrupted time and again. Tennis balls in silver bowls, sliced kiwi halves with sticky labels and even a bitten donut can be found in her work.
After completing her degree in art history, she studied art, painting and graphics at the Academy of Visual Arts in Leipzig until 2022, including in the class of Annette Schröter.
