Franca Franz explores the tensions between nature and artificiality in her paintings. Her alienated landscapes challenge us to rethink our relationship with the environment.
She studied painting in Antwerp at the Royal Academy of Fine Arts and in Leipzig at the Academy of Visual Arts in the class of Annette Schröter.
