The Frankfurt-based artist Justus 'Cor' Becker (born 1978 in Hamburg) studied communication design. He specialised in illustration at the University of Applied Sciences in Frankfurt, and is now known worldwide for his graffiti art on building facades. His style is unmistakable: Photorealistic elements are interwoven with abstract elements. However, the artist is concerned with far more than just creating beauty. He uses the spray can to express his thoughts and world events. Recurring themes that can be found in his works include: injustice, hope and freedom, and equality.
