Shifted pixels, distorted dimensions, incomplete images - glitches reveal what makes up the media that surround us every day; and where their limits lie in the depiction of reality. The exhibition brings together works by five contemporary artists who use oil, spray paint or acrylic paint to bring the glitches (from the Yiddish gletshn - to slip, slide away) of the digital world to the canvas and show how these lead to an unexpected attraction. In this way, the works on display question our viewing habits and deal with the world in which people live, their relationship to each other and to the media.
