The exhibition #artiststowatch brings together the youngest generation of contemporary artists from the talent factory of the Alanus University in Alfter: one class, six individual styles and perspectives on what surrounds us every day. Andrew Friedrich, Noah Kauertz, Raphael Paulun, Katharina Reschke, Judica Schön and Lukas Zimmermann study or have studied painting in Professor Andreas Orosz's class. His unmistakable style is the guiding principle of his teaching: "The appropriation of reality through painting and drawing is a very original impulse that is irreplaceable despite all the new technical possibilities. More than 20 figurative works have been selected for this exhibition. Insights and views: of luxurious design classics, a deserted village idyll, studio views and self-portraits - through the eyes and handwriting of the artists, they pay homage to the everyday.
